About the Founder
Ricky Lee Taff, native name Spirit Wolf - son of Tom and Lorianne Taff, a direct descendant of Geronimo, Chiricahua Apache and Navajo Nation - has felt the calling to be a healer or ‘medicine man’ from a young age.
When faced with a bladder cancer diagnosis in 2003 while attending college, Ricky was awakened to the true benefits and healing powers of natural medicine. Combining both Western and native medicines, he was able to overcome the discomforts of his cancer treatments.
Wanting to share the benefits of native medicine with others, Ricky pursued his path as a healer and became a certified Medical Administrator through the State of Washington. In 2011, he started his first medical cannabis company "Hanging with My Buds."
In 2015, Ricky once again received the devastating news that his dog Cheyenne had mass cell growth cancer and was given a prognosis of 6 months to live. Driven by the healing spirit within, Ricky started spending more time in his kitchen laboratory and began experimenting. He was determined to create a remedy that would not only help prolong the life of his dog but also ease her suffering. The result was an organic topical solution that was not pretty and even smelled a little funky, but it worked.
Wanting to further his knowledge and abilities as a healer, he began to study herbology within other indigenous and ethnic cultures that already used recipes derived from Mother Earth to treat illness.
Over time and with lots of experimentation, Ricky is proud to present the world with his creations. Completely organic and natural medicine products created from the heart of healing. His mission in life is to heal the world - one person, dog, friend, family member, and soul at a time.
Today, he is a medicine man, but he ultimately strives to be a Shaman.
