Shipping Speeds and Expectations
Flat rate shipping is standard for orders under $99.00.
USPS Options (PO BOX ADDRESSES MUST CHOOSE ONE OF THESE)
USPS Packages are delivered Monday through Saturday. All below transit times are counted as business days starting the day after pickup.
- USPS Priority Mail: 2-4 days This time is not guaranteed by us nor USPS. We sometimes see orders actually take as long as 2 weeks to get delivered and therefore do not reccomend this option. If you need something faster we suggest using UPS.
- USPS Priority Mail Express: 1-3 days
Shipping Refunds + Delays
We do not deliver the packages we hand them off to the respective carriers. Even though USPS givse expected delivery times, we cannot guarantee it and therefore cannot offer refunds for packages taking longer.
Please note we do not control the shipping carrier’s actions when it comes to delivery therefore we can not explain specific routes or delays on behalf of USPS/UPS it is best to reach out to the carrier themselves as we have no more information than what is provided by the tracking number.
How to Check Order Status
Once you place an order, there are a couple options to track the status of your order.
The easiest way is to log into your account dashboard and check your order status under the most recent order history.
There, you will be able to check where in the fulfillment process it is, and if it’s been shipped out or not.
Your tracking information will also be emailed to you once your shipping label is created. Once your label is created, you also can track the status of your package via the carrier website.
SALE/ORDER SHIPPING DELAYS & UPDATES
Expect additional time for processing and fulfilment on all orders around a sale and after. Orders are processed on a first come first served basis where supplies permits. If you have tracking information but it only says label created that means the order is still in the process of being fulfilled and may be waiting on additional product to be finished.
Generally we have a 0-2 business business day lead time for packing and shipping out all orders. Once in transit, expect your shipment to arrive in 1-5 business days depending on shipping method you selected.
USPS only picks up packages Monday – Friday, so if you order over the weekend, the mail does not move.
If your shipment is delayed after being fulfilled, it’s always best to contact USPS directly at (800) 275-8777.
If that does not work for you, please reach out via the CONTACT US form and we can cancel/refund your order prior to it being shipped out. If you decide to cancel your order when it’s already in transit, you will need to send the shipment back unopened for a full product refund.
Shipping terms and additional considerations
*Order turnaround refers to the time it takes our office to process (print, package and ship) your order. Only when your package is picked up by your chosen mail carrier does the shipping ETA go into effect.
*We do not ship internationally. We only ship to the US, excluding Nevada. Due to the changing legal landscape, it is the customers responsibility to comply with local and state laws in their area.
*Mail carriers count “days” as business days, which are only Monday – Friday, holidays are not included. Mail doesn’t move on national holidays.
High Value Orders and Signature Required
*Orders over $150 are considered “high value” and require an adult signature (both UPS and USPS). You may request to have the signature required removed in the order notes during checkout however in doing so you accept the risk associated with delivery problems. If you waive the signature requirement and the carrier reports the package delivered yet you don’t have it, we will be unable to refund or reship your order. We must side with the carrier and you chose to remove the signature requirement delivery that is put in place to avoid these problems.
Fraud and High Value Orders
First time buyers and higher value orders are big targets for Fraud. To reduce the risk of fraudulent orders we may cancel orders we deem too risky. The best way to mitigate this issue is to ensure the billing and shipping address on the order match, you provide a working phone number, email, and provided names are all legitimate. Orders with information deemed abnormal or unrealistic may be subject to cancellation and refund.
*Ordered are fulfilled Monday – Friday. No orders are shipped or packaged on Saturdays and Sundays.
*If you request to cancel an order after we have paid for a USPS shipping label, we may choose to refund the order minus the shipping charge. We are not able to recoup these charges, as well as the time and effort that have gone into preparing the order.
Product Packaging
Majority of products are sold by weight. We may package your order differently than what you specifically ordered, so long as the end result of what you received is the same. For example you may receive 4 7g jars instead of 1 28g bag. All products are heat sealed in a smell proof, food grade, Mylar bag when shipped for discretion.
Careful handling & discreet packaging
All online orders are packaged discreetly in the order they are received. We currently run 0-2 day turnaround time on most orders(time depending on the mail carrier you have selected. (Weekend and holidays not included). All packages are shipped in nondescript, USPS, UPS, or plain packaging.
Shipping Tips
Please check your spam/promotions folder as email accounts like gmail/yahoo/hotmail tend to filter auto-generated emails that have valuable tracking information.
Please keep in mind, we are not the post office so our tracking information will be the same as what you can see online.
Cancellation of Orders
If a shipping label has already been printed for your order we may be unable to cancel the order, whether or not the tracking shows it as picked up. For this reason cancellation requests should be sent before any shipment information is created. Shipments that are returned to sender/sent back may have the order amount credit/refunded minus the cost of shipping.
Customer Responsibility + 1 Week Grace Period
It is the responsibility of the customer to review their order upon delivery and inform us if anything is amiss. If there is something wrong with your order you must notify us within 1 week of the mail carrier’s delivery time for your package. We cannot resolve missing items/bad product/not delivered issues that are brought up after this 1 week period.
I only received a partial order! What do I do?
We apologize if you didn’t receive everything you ordered. If this is simply just a mistake on our end, the missing products will be shipped out ASAP at no additional charge. Simply reach out via our contact us page here. Please note, you might be asked to text/email a picture of your order contents prior to us reshipping the items.
My package says delivered, but it’s not here?
Please give it up to 48 hours for your package to show up. Although it might say delivered on the tracking, sometimes carriers scan the code in error prior to the package being dropped off. It’s also always a good idea to try to talk to your local carrier who physically drops the packages off in your mailbox.
**Please note: CBD Hemp Direct does not cover package theft. If the tracking says delivered, we must assume the package has been delivered.**
My package was lost “in-transit”
Please note that USPS is notorious for packages taking longer than expected. USPS priority mail gives a estimated time of 2-4 business days, however it’s not uncommon for it to take up to 2 weeks. In the event the package does not make it to you, we will do our best to locate it and/or possibly file an insurance claim. If the package was indeed lost and/or a claim awarded, we will resend the order at no additional charge.
The mail carrier is asking me for a signature, do I need to sign?
Yes, we have started to require a signature for both ‘high value’ UPS and USPS deliveries. This is to ensure packages arrive on-time to the recipient, so we appreciate your cooperation.
